I had abdominal pain and lost a lot of weight as I went through jaundice. After an examination on 22 April 1998, I was found to have liver cancer, and I was operated on immediately.
Everything seemed fine and I was soon discharged home. Soon afterwards, however, I developed a high fever and pains began to trouble me that lasted almost a whole month. So I went back to the hospital. After a series of tests — ultrasound, CT scan, alpha-fetoprotein (AFP) test and liver function tests — a recurrence of my liver tumour was confirmed.
Tumour changes in the liver are hard to detect, and once they are found it is often too late to operate. My case was the best example of that.
What I really wanted was to spend my last days with my family. So I went home without any treatment. During that time my health deteriorated badly. Then I came to Mr. Wang’s clinic, and he immediately prescribed a three-month course of Tian Xian Liquid.
My fever came down, my energy rose and my appetite returned. Further tests showed that the tumour had shrunk and that everything had returned to normal.
