Rectal Cancer Survivor Story: Even at a Late Stage

Zhang Yu Xiang, 69 years old, male, Shanghai City

The colon and the rectum. Among the cancers that attack the large intestine, about 70% are located in the colon, while about 30% are in the area of the rectum. These cancers rank second in frequency among all cancer-related illnesses. Their symptoms are usually bloody stools or changes in bowel function, such as frequent constipation or diarrhoea.

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with rectal cancer, which showed itself through bloody stools and sharp pains in the lower abdomen. Because the cancer was very far advanced, an operation could not be performed. Then a friend of mine recommended a new anti-cancer medicine. I thought it was better than doing nothing and waiting for death. I began taking Tian Xian Liquid.

Within a week the bloody stools stopped. Over the following year my weight increased by 6 kilograms. A tumour measuring 2 cm x 3 cm shrank by half within 2 years. People say I look much better, something that was really hard to believe before.
